PASSPORT AND VISA


A United States passport is an internationally recognized travel document attesting to the identity and nationality of the bearer. It is a request on the part of the issuing government officials of foreign governments permit bearer to travel or sojourn in their territories and to afford them all lawful aid and protection.
A passport holder is normally entitled to enter the country that issued the passport, though some people entitled to a passport may not be full citizens with right of abode. A passport is a document certifying identity and nationality, having the document does not of itself grant any rights, such as protection by the consulate of the issuing country, although it may indicate that the holder has such rights. 
Many countries normally allow entry to holders of passports of other countries, sometimes requiring a visa also to be held, but this is not an automatic right.
Types of United States Passport
>Regular Passport
A regular passport is issued to a person who is a national of the United States. An applicant born in the United States must present a certified copy of his birth certificate with a registrar’s seal and signature. Applicants not born in the United States who are citizens may present naturalization certificates, certificates of citizenship or a consular report of birth abroad. Regular passports have a dark blue cover.








>Official Passport
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security states that, “an official passport is issued to an official or employee of the U.S. Government traveling abroad to carry out official duties.” Family members of government officials may also be issued official passports. Official passports have a brown cover.










>Diplomatic Passport
Foreign service officers or others traveling abroad to engage in diplomatic duties for the U.S. government are issued diplomatic passports. Family members of diplomats may also be issued a diplomatic passport. Diplomatic passports have a black cover.










>Passport Card
A passport card is not a full passport; it does not allow the bearer to travel internationally to most countries. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security notes that, “It is valid only for departure from and entry to the United States through land and sea ports of entry between the United States and Mexico, Canada, the Caribbean and Bermuda."





WHAT IS VISA?

  • A visa is an endorsment placed on a passport granting the holder official permission to enter, leave or stay in a country for a specified time period.
  • The most common visa types are tourist, student, work and transit visas.
  • Depending on where you are traveling, a visa can be valid for single or multiple visits.
  • Some visas require an application to be field prior to entering the country and other visas are granted upon entering the country.
  • Certain countries require an interview or medical screening prior to applying for.

SOEKARNO-HATTA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TERMINAL 3


Soekarno–Hatta International Airport Terminal 3 is an airport terminal of Soekarno–Hatta International Airport serving Greater JakartaIndonesia. It is located on the east-northern side of the airport. Terminal 3 has a different style than other terminals of the airport. Terminal 1 and 2 were built with incorporation of the local architecture into the design, but Terminal 3 is built in contemporary modern design with environmental friendly and traditional sense. The terminal was first named as Terminal 3 Ultimate but later it was decided to integrate with the old Terminal 3. It currently houses Garuda IndonesiaSaudi Arabian AirlinesKorean AirXiamenAirChina AirlinesChina Southern Airlines, and Vietnam Airlines flights until further completion when all international flights will be moved here. The terminal is expected to be fully operational by September 2017.
The former Terminal 3 was officially opened for international flights on November 15, 2011, when all Indonesia AirAsia flights started using Terminal 3 as its new base for international flights as well as domestic flights. The New Terminal 3 (known as "Terminal 3 Ultimate") was formally opened on August 9, 2016. The floor area of the new terminal covers 422,804 m2 (4,551,020 sq ft) with 10 international gates, 18 domestic gates, 112 check-in counters, 48 jet bridges and 10 bus gates. It is slated to be larger than Changi Airport Terminal 3, Singapore which is the benchmark for SHIA. There is a Tourist Information Center at Terminal 3 Ultimate to serve international tourists.] At present the New Terminal 3 has no connection with the building of the old Terminal 3. The older Terminal 3 will be renovated with a connection to be built between the old and new terminals.
T3 Soekarno-Hatta International Airport uses technology similar to an overseas airport. Automatic luggage and Baggage handling system (BHS) level 5 detector, 500-500 point CCTV, 50 MBPS WiFi, Fully Intelligence Building Management System (IBMS) for environmentally friendly buildings, lighting technology according to weather conditions, and rainwater systems that filter rain water into clean water.
And also There is a Skytrain to connect to other terminals.Skytrain serves to connect passengers to move from Terminal 1, 2, and 3 Soekarno Hatta Airport. Skytrain is operated unmanned and commenced operations in September 2017.
So after you’ve parked your car in the parking area located just near Terminal 3 airport, you are going to see an entrance.


After that we are going to have our luggage or carriage checked and our body screened



We are arriving just in front of the Security check.



You’ll see a lot of guidance sign, if you need to go to the restroom, you’ll see the sign pointing to the place, or you’re just about to proceed, than you can continue to check in you tickets
To proceed to the check in area we need to go through the departures area, just see the direction on the sign board and proceed ahead.






Here we are on Terminal 3 departure area, on your left you’ll see ticketing place provided by various airlines

If you’ve purchased the tickets by online bookings than you may print those tickets right there, or if you are facing trouble with your tickets and airlines, than you can go to the spesific airline you are using right there.

After that you may go to the check in area in there, there you’ll have all you baggage and yourself checked for the second time then you go to store your luggage at the luggage stop right in front of the check in area, unfortunately we cannot get any footage inside the check in area.
Lastly you may stop at the departing lounge, you’ll have your body checked for the last time, then you may proceed to your flight.
